Katie Cavuto, RD is a Philadelphia-based chef, nutritionist, yoga teacher and wellness advocate. Katie uses mindfulness practices, self-love and food gratitude as a grounding foundation to her wellness initiatives. She is founder of Nourish.Breathe.Thrive, the Nutrition Advisor for Unite For Her, an organization that supports newly diagnosed breast cancer patients and the nutritionist for the Philadelphia Phillies. Katie was a finalist on Season 5 of "The Next Food Network Star" and she teaches an applied nutrition class at the Drexel School of Medicine. She appears in regular nutrition and cooking segments on local and national TV and her first cookbook, "Whole Cooking and Nutrition" is available now. Katie's writing and recipes have been showcased nationally in Eating Well Magazine, Shape Magazine, O, the Oprah Magazine, Parents Magazine and more.
